Structural properties of Cuntz-Pimsner algebras associated to
C*-correspondences over C(X)

Abstract:
Given a finite rank vector bundle over a compact metric space X, we consider
the
C*-correspondence over C(X) of the continuous sections of the bundle with a
left
action induced by a homeomorphism of X. In this talk, we will discuss the
properties of the CuntzPimsner algebras associated to such C*-correspondences,
in particular when the homeomorphism is minimal and X is a finite-dimensional
space, aiming to classify these C*-algebras using tracial and K-theoretical
data, namely, the Elliott invariant. This talk is based on joint work with D.
