Four new professors at the Department of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics welcomes four new professors who have come to Erlangen in the fall of 2021.
Prof. Dr. Gandalf Lechner has taken over the new chair for Mathematics (Operator Algebras) within the Heisenberg Programme as of 01.09.2021.
Prof. Dr. Torben Krüger leads the Chair of Mathematical Stochastics as of 01.10.2021.
Prof. Dr. Manuel Friedrich takes up the professorship for Applied Mathematics (Applied Analysis) on 01.10.2021.
Prof. Dr. Kang Li will take up the junior professorship for Lie Theory/Representation Theory on 01.11.2021.
